John Wicks and his wife Barbara have been married for 37 years, and together they have three children and five grandchildren. John and Barbara reside in the central New York State area where Barbara is a social worker. 

 

John has been a builder, construction manager, and construction consultant for over 40 years.  Studying under his father as a carpenter, cabinet maker, and machinist, John started as a home builder and progressed to commercial facilities where he provided facility design, engineering, construction management, and project supervision for projects up to two million dollars. For the last twenty years, John initiated an overseas effort to help foreign directors of humanitarian organizations by offering the same professional construction services as he provided stateside. To date, he has directed over fifty overseas construction trips working on projects such as educational facilities, homes, outreach centers, churches, orphanages, and medical clinics. 

 

John’s hobbies include rebuilding antique tractors and camping.
